SSN accepts advertising. In addition, we offer an advertorial program as well.

Banner Advertising

We offer banner ads that appear at the top of the SSN home page for $200 per month. Since this is a new service, we cannot provide any traffic counts. We anticipate that the traffic will increase over time, and we will adjust our ad rates accordingly.
The size for these banner ads is: 238 pixels wide by 90 pixels tall.

Interior Page Advertising

In addition, we offer interior ads for $100 for one month. The size for these is 234 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall.

Advertorials

We offer three types of advertorials.

The first is an interview with you or a principal of an organization. Examples of these sponsored interviews appear at http://www.arnoldit.com/search-wizards-speak. The fee of $500 includes a short blog write up pointing to the interview. The interviews may be reused by the advertiser, but a backlink and / or a credit line to SSN is required.

The second is a bylined article of up to 1,000 words. Longer articles will be split into sections and run on successive days. A pre-written article will be edited by the SSN staff and returned to the advertiser for review. SSN cannot publish a bylined article without subjecting the article to its editorial and legal review. The fee, including the editing and review cycle, for a bylined article is $500.

The third advertising option is an article written by one of the SSN journalists. The fee for this type of original work ranges from $300 for a 150 word article to $1,000 for a 2,000 word article that runs in two parts. Art and photography are not included in this fee.

Supplemental Services

SSN can coordinate the publication of an interview or advertorial with a news release written by SSN. The news release is coordinated with the publication of the for-fee content in order to deliver a one-two punch. The fee for the news release is $500 for the US media market. If you have a special request for a release in another country, we will be delighted to provide a price quotation.
